THE INVISIBLE HOSTESS
COORDINATORS
THE INVISIBLE HOSTESS
SENIOR COORDINATORS
What is the difference between a Senior Coordinator and a Coordinator? The quick answer is longevity in the industry. You receive the same service no matter who you work with. Think of it like your favorite salon. There are stylists of different price points due to experience, but you know that anyone in your favorite salon will be of a similar caliber and aesthetic. That's us. We've all started our journey's at different times, but none of these ladies would be a part of The Invisible Hostess family if they weren't top notch hard workers with the same mission: a successful and positive experience.
MEET SHEENA KALSO
Sheena's event industry experience began while earning her degree in Communication and
Business in 2003. Experiences under the tutilage of seasoned Seattle planners inspired her to launch The Invisible Hostess in the Spring of 2006. She credits her outgoing personality, hard work ethic, respect for peers and love of hospitality as key traits to what makes her successful.
"I will never tire of hearing, 'Thank you for everything. This was the best day of my life.' There is a profound importance to what I do and this honor is never lost on me."

MEET NATASHA LARSEN
Natasha was in the Chicago advertising industry for over 7 years managing accounts and
overseeing production. A desire for a career change, and a move to Seattle, led her to explore the corporate and social event industries. After some time with Seattle's CRG, Natasha joined The Invisible Hostess, pioneering our now essential position of Event Manager. Natasha joined our coordination team for the 2013 season and has quickly dominated our review sites with happy testimonies from her clients.
"My favorite part about wedding coordination is that moment right before I start sending out the wedding party for the ceremony. I get goosebumps each and every time."

MEET AFTON VANDER POL
After embarking on a successful career in interior design, Afton joined The Invisible Hostess
team in 2007. At the time, she and Sheena were the only two coordinators and she very
successfully captained our 2010 season when Sheena was on maternity leave. That summer lead to our first Best of Bride Award in 2011! Afton's compassion, understanding, unflappable work ethic and expertise makes her an irreplaceable asset to the team.
"My favorite thing about coordination is the minute before the guests arrive and everything is all set, ready and looks beautiful. Most of all, I love watching the couple enjoy the day with their family and friends."
GUILTY PLEASURE: A tie between crafting and eating chocolate chips while watching bad TV.

MEET MARY BROWN
Mary joined The Invisible Hostess team for our 2014 season after 7 years in HR with an international construction company. Her interest in events grew with every company event
she would coordinate. Mary's degree in Theatre Arts and her three years of bridal shop experience, combined with her HR level of organization (so much paperwork!) made her a natural at wedding coordination. The Invisible Hostess recognized this almost immediately and snatched her up!
"My favorite thing about coordination is the moment the couple's eyes meet for the first time on the aisle. They are overwhelmed with love and you can see the nerves drain out of them, being replaced with excitement."
GUILTY PLEASURE: Anything vampire related
FAVORITE DESSERT: S'mores with peanut butter
IDEAL SUMMER NIGHT: Before starting a family, it was dancing the night away with my hubby and friends at an outdoor music festival. Now with the arrival of our Spring 2015 baby- who knows...

MEET JOCELYN LAWRENCE
Hailing from Kansas, with a degree in Business Marketing, Jocelyn entered a career in sales
and event coordination for a sports team. She moved to Seattle and joined The Invisible Hostess for the 2014 season. Jocelyn's strength in organization and execution caught the team's attention early on and it was a no-brainer to formally invite her to become a permanent fixture on the Coordination team.
"My favorite part of wedding is when the couple first sees everything they have worked on for so many months. Their excitement in that moment makes all of the work worth it."
