We follow industry-standard server to guest ratios. While we do our best to work within your budget, there are staffing minimums that are non-negotiable.  A four-hour minimum is required.
 
HOST or HOSTESS
$33/hr +18% gratuity
LEAD HOST or HOSTESS
(required for events with three or more team members)

HOSTESS BREAK RATE
$15/hr
 
If your event doesn't require continuous help, for example you need set up and tear down help, but no assistance in between, you're still billed for the hours in between the actual service.  This rate is only an option for continuous breaks of 2 hours or longer.

BARTENDER: Beer and Wine pouring
$38/hr + 10% guaranteed gratuity + tip jar at event

$38/hr + 25% guaranteed gratuity, no tip jar at event (house parties require this)
BARTENDER: Beer, Wine and Hard Alcohol pouring
$45/hr + 10% guaranteed gratuity + tip jar at event
or

MELROSE MARKET SITE REP
$18/hr
 
When not using a preferred caterer of Melrose Market Studios, the venue requires hiring The Invisible Hostess to act as Site Representative.  This is not a typical Host or Hostess where he or she tend to your event.  The responsibility of a Site Representative is to ensure the building rules are being followed and that lock up is handled properly by the party hosts.

COSTUME STIPEND
starts at $10/per
 
If you want our team to dress in theme with your event, we can quote you a per-person stipend for costuming.  Stipends start at $10 per person, which would cover small accessories.  You are also welcome to provide your own costuming.

TRAVEL TIME
$20/hr
 
The first hour, round trip, from Seattle, WA is complimentary. Travel time after the first complimentary one is is $20/hr per Host or Hostess and billed in 15 minute increments.  Travel is estimated by Google Maps and we select the highest estimated travel time (i.e. "with traffic" option) as most of our travel will occur during peak driving times.

STAFFING PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
 
Upon booking, indicated by a signed contract anddeposit received, you have a 3-day grace period to retract your agreement with The Invisible Hostess per the Buyer’s Remorse Law and you will be refunded your 50% advance. If you should cancel after the grace period, 20% of your total contracted rate will be kept as a cancellation fee. If you choose to cancel your contract 3 months or less prior to your date, your 50% advance is non-refundable. At 30 days prior to your event date, you are no longer able to decrease the amount of services contracted and the full amount of your invoice due and non-refundable.

COORDINATION PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
 
Upon booking, indicated by a signed contract and deposit received, you have a 3-day grace period to retract your agreement with The Invisible Hostess per the Buyer’s Remorse Law and you will be refunded your 50% advance. If you cancel after the three-day period, and it is more than 12 months to your event date, your 50% advance is refundable. If you should cancel 12 months or less from your event date, your 50% advance is non-refundable unless another event of equal or greater value replaces your event.

CHANGE-OF-DATE POLICY
 
When changing your event date, for staffing or coordination services, our cancellation policy applies. While we are retaining your business, there is a loss of business we incur by turning away other clients for your originally booked date which is what our cancellation policy is protecting us from.

BAR SIGN RENTAL
 
For clients of The Invsible Hostess : $100 for a 24 hour rental. Pick up and return is included.
For non-clients of The Invisible Hostess : $150 for a 24 hour rental + you pick up/return

HOW TO PAY
 
A 50% advance is required to secure your date.  We accept credit, debit and check.  We ask that you pay using our online paylink via the website.  You may also mail checks to:

The remaining balance will be ran on your provided card 14 days prior to your event date or you may mail your check at that time.
